BC presenters, celebrities and sports stars in the North West went head-to-head in a Dragon Boat challenge in aid of Sport Relief (18 March 2010).
Leading the two teams over the one-mile course in the Huron Basin in Salford Quays were BBC presenters Tony Livesey and Dianne Oxberry.
They were joined in the boats TV presenter Nick Hancock, comedian Justin Moorhouse and ex-Hollyoaks and Holby City star Jeremy Edwards.
Also putting their oars in were England cricketer James Anderson, England footballer Sue Smith, Olympic swimmer Steve Parry, North West Tonight’s Annabel Tiffin and Radio Lancashire’s Graham Liver.
The teams were given expert help from the Pool of Life Dragon Boat club in Liverpool.
