Congratulations to Everton

On Monday I had the privilege to commentate on the Women’s FA Cup Final between Everton and Arsenal.

It was a truly entertaining match and a great advertisement for the women’s game. Everton ran out deserved winners in the end in which was an enthralling afternoon of football at the City ground.

A winner in the last minute of Extra time from Natasha Dowie sealed victory for the blues.

Arsenal fort hard in the match and played some fantastic football at times, but it was Everton captain and England team mate Jody Handley who lifted the trophy aloft.
