Blackpool
Ok, now on to the important stuff. We had an afternoon off on Saturday before the game so as I had my car we decided to go for a drive to the pleasure beach. The girls from London couldn’t believe Blackpool, when they first arrived and it wasn’t their usual 5 star luxury hotel and the area was should we say a little bit dilapidated there was a few moans. All of us Northern lasses loved it, the place is really tacky and cheesy but has great character and as said by mummy smith “ the air is better here than anywhere” and she isn’t wrong. However by the end of the trip all the girls loved it. They were going home with big teddies that they had won, fake poo, Blackpool rock and rude shaped sweets, and of course memories of going on the big one!!! I love the fare but am scared of heights but I thought you cant go to Blackpool and not go on the tallest ride in Europe I have to say it was fun but I did scream all the way round and have a rather attractive picture as proof.
All in all it was a fun week and Blackpool is definitely a place to visit if only for a night out, it’s for all ages and I am sure you will have fun. As you can see I now have a new job as a travel tour operator for Blackpool.
PS Don’t tell Hope we did all that Sat afternoon I don’t think she knows!!!
