Greetings from Blackpool
We met up for camp England Yesterday and we will be training and preparing for our first world cup qualifier against Malta on Sunday. It has been pretty hectic football wise since we returned from the Euros with our club football but this is the first England game since the tournament, so we will be hoping for a big crowd. The problem is Liverpool play Man United the same day lets hope people choose us instead. As I mentioned before what more could people want, a ride on the Big One, Blackpool rock, watch us at 5pm and then home to watch X-factor results. I think I may be in the wrong profession; I could be a personal event planner!!
Last week both the senior England ladies team and the Under 19’s went to watch the men’s England game against Belarus. This was to say well done for our performances in the Euros, as I have mentioned several times we got a silver medal, the 19’s went one further and actually won the tournament. So the FA treated us to a lovely 3-course meal watch the match VIP style and walk around the pitch at half time. The Wembly crowd were immense, we got a huge round of applause and it just made me think what a buzz it would be to play in front of this crowd every international match.
